Simms Still & Stogies is reopening with a new concept (small plates / appetizer menu), and we are looking for a reliable cook to run day-to-day kitchen operations.
This is NOT a chef-driven role.
Menu is simple and systems-based
Position Details:
• Prep and execute a small plates and dessert menu
• Maintain clean and organized kitchen
• Follow established recipes and systems
• Help with basic inventory
What We’re Looking For:
• Line cook experience preferred (not required); safe serve certified
• Dependable and consistent
• Able to work independently
• No ego — just show up and execute
Compensation:
• Competitive hourly pay ($17-$20 based on experience and on whether you need accomodations)
• Housing available (for relocation candidates)
Location:
Port Austin, MI – Lake Huron (seasonal destination town)
