Manufactured around 1993 by Tandy Corporation. Optimus was one of Tandy Corporation's private label brands for audio equipment, sold through their Radio Shack stores.
Now you see'em, now you don't! Just swing out the wood grain speaker cabinets to fill the room with great sound, then swing 'em back into conserve space when not in use.
- AM/FM stereo tuner with graphic equalizer and left/right balance
- Twin cassette deck with record, play, rewind, FFWD, stop/eject, pause
- Jacks for mic left & right, as well as head phones
The cabinet is 27” long x 12” wide x 29” high. Each swing-out speaker is 24” high x 10” wide x 5” deep. Minor speaker cover issues – see pics # 6 & # 7. Minor wear at the right bottom (was in a high-traffic area) – see pic # 8.

- Original owner’s manual
- 17 cassettes, mostly Classic Country (Country Western)
- 4x Maxell UR90 and 2x Maxell UR120 blank cassette tapes still in their original packaging
